While red meat, eggs, saturated fat, refined sugar, foods containing preservatives and additives, instant meals, heavily processed foods, liquor, coffee and cigarettes are best avoided.
For best results, this detoxification diet must be followed with a proper exercise regimen. Exercising encourages toxin release through the sweat you expel from your skin pores. This will also increase your metabolic rate and help you get rejuvenated. Going to sauna baths, yoga programs and contrast showers can also contribute to the effectiveness of the innate cleaning capabilities of the body.
Detoxification diets are a natural way of purging your body of toxins. It can aid in removing dead skin cells, removing cancer-causing free radicals, harmful waste matter and substances, and improve overall functioning of the body's natural healing system.
It is important to note that following juice or water diet may cause some disturbances in the body, especially when changes are made drastically.
