The 100 Calorie Diet - Good Choice Or Bad Idea?

The 100 Calorie Diet - Good Choice Or Bad Idea?

The program, 100 Calorie Diet, was developed by Susie and Tammy Trimble, who lost more than 100 pounds by adopting this diet plan. According to these sisters it is better and easier to reduce your weight when you keep track of your intake in units of 100 calories. The authors declare that you do not have to follow any fad diet to reduce weight. You can continue with your normal diet and achieve the desired weight by measuring your food in portions of 100 calories. They provide tools to help you with this job.
The basic principle is to become sensitive to serving size. You need not worry about avoiding favorite foods and this increases the success rate of the 100 Calorie Diet. Deprivation, according to the authors, damages the mind and body of the dieter. However, this should not lead to over indulging on fatty foods. The daily calorie intake is 1500 for men and 2000 for women. You should plan your diet so as to eat healthy foods to attain this calorie limit. Writing down is a good way to plan your diet. The book also contains questionnaires to assist you in identifying impediments to your diet plan such as lesser stress-coping capacity, emotional factors, etc.
